Brooke Baldwin Education: A Walk Through Schools CNN Journalist Brooke Baldwin Has Attended


Brooke Baldwin is an American veteran journalist, television host, and best-selling author who used to work at CNN.

Lauren Brooke Baldwin was born on July 12, 1979, in Atlanta, Georgia, the USA. Not much is known about her family background and childhood. Her mother was a teacher, while her father worked as a consultant at Deloitte.

Unfortunately, Brooke Baldwin lost her mother to cancer when she was only 12 years old. She is a well-known distant cousin to Alec, Stephen, and Willian Baldwin, who are all in the entertainment industry. The renowned news anchor who had become a household name had been at CNN from 2008 until April 2021.

Brooke Baldwin hosted CNN Newsroom with Brooke Baldwin, which aired from 3 pm to 4 pm ET on weekdays. With a successful career, Brooke has met with presidents and interviewed first ladies, members of Congress, astronauts, scientists, and activists before leaving CNN after being a part of the network for 13 years.

Brooke Baldwin later went to publish a book titled Huddle: How Women Unlock Their Collective Power. She is presently living with her husband and English producer James Fletcher who she married in May 2018, in Hudson Valley, north of New York City.

A Walk Through Schools CNN Journalist Brooke Baldwin Has Attended

Regarding Brooke Baldwin’s education, she attended a private college-preparatory school called the Westminster Schools.  In 2001, Brooke Baldwin graduated with two bachelor’s degrees in Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as well as in journalism from the university’s Hussman School of Journalism and Media.

As an undergraduate, Brooke Baldwin also studied abroad at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
