And the two of them attempted to smuggle themselves back into Culiacan, his father’s hometown, by driving into the city one night in a red SUV. As a result, they fired 500 bullets at the vehicle, suffocating and killing the two youths. El Metrico, Guzman’s friend, recognized the bodies. And then he was overcome by sadness and regret.
