As a result, she presented the first counseling center lesson in a Memphis, Tennessee shopping mall. In addition, the training was provided in retail and nonreligious contexts as small classes. She started presenting the program in the 1990s at Bellevue Baptist Church.
The curriculum consisted of a 12-week class conducted by video and audio CDs featuring Lara. In over 600 churches in 35 states in the United States by 1994, the curriculum was provided.
