Meek Mill net worth: Meek Mill is a rapper, songwriter, and activist from the United States of America. He has a net worth of $20 million. Meek Mill is one of the world’s most popular rappers today.

Meek Mill was born Robert Rahmeek Williams on May 6, 1987, in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. When Meek was five years old, his father was assassinated during an attempted robbery. Kathy worked multiple jobs to support her family following her husband’s death. At times, she was forced to commit shoplifting. Meek was a shy child. Meek’s uncle was the pioneering DJ Grandmaster Nell, a fixture on the Philadelphia hip-hop scene in the late 1980s. Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff were influenced by DJ Grandmaster Nell. As a teenager, Meek began competing in rap battles under the moniker Meek Millz. With three friends, he formed the rap group The Bloodhoundz. Meek was arrested for illegally possessing a firearm when he was 18 years old while walking to a corner store. Meek was beaten so severely by the police that both of his eyes swollen, his lips swollen, and one of his braids was ripped out. According to the police, Meek pursued them with the gun and attempted to kill them. Meek has been placed on probation.

 

Meek began his career in the mid-2000s, releasing mixtapes. “Flamerz,” his first mixtape, garnered him attention in 2007. That mixtape, along with its follow-up, “Flamerz 2 – Hottest in the City,” attracted the attention of T.I.’s Grand Hustle Records and Warner Brothers Records. He was arrested and spent seven months in jail before he could choose a label with which to sign. He signed with Rick Ross’ Warner Brothers Music label, Maybach Music Group, upon his release. His self-titled debut studio album, “Dreams and Nightmares,” was released in 2012 and debuted at the top of the US Rap, Hip/Hop R&B, and Billboard 200 charts. His second album, “Dreams Worth More Than Money,” was released in 2015 and debuted at the top of all three charts. His third studio album, “Wins and Losses,” debuted at number two on both the Rap and Hip Hop/R&B charts in 2017.

 

Meek announced the launch of his own label, Dream Chasers Records, in October 2012, naming it after his mixtape series.

Meek was sentenced to 11 to 23 months in prison and eight years of probation in 2008 for drug dealing and gun possession.

 

Meek violated his probation in late 2012, and a judge revoked his travel permit. In the spring of 2013, he violated his probation once again by failing to notify the court of his travel plans and making social media posts that included death threats directed at his probation officer. He was ordered by the court to attend etiquette classes.

 

In December 2017, he committed another parole violation. The judge denied him a second chance. He has been ordered to cease employment until his sentencing. Meek was sentenced to 90 days of house arrest in February 2016.

 

Meek Mill was arrested in St. Louis on March 11, 2017 after assaulting two pedestrians. For violating his parole, he was sentenced to two to four years in state prison. He served a five-month sentence at the Pennsylvania State Correctional Institution in Chester.

 

In August 2019, a documentary series titled “Free Meek” was released. The series chronicles his numerous encounters with the criminal justice system. Meek served as the series’ executive producer.

 

Meek Mill began dating Nicki Minaj in early 2015 and opened for her 2015 world tour. Meek and Minaj ended their two-year relationship in January 2017.

 

Mill co-founded the REFORM Alliance Foundation with fellow recording artist Jay-Z in 2018, following his release from state custody. The nonprofit organization’s mission is to reform the criminal justice system through legislative and policy changes, beginning with probation and parole.

Meek and Nicki Minaj rented a Beverly Hills mansion for $35,000 per month in 2016. The house was constructed in 2008 on the former site of Frank Sinatra’s residence. The home features a two-story foyer, a spacious living room with a fireplace, and arched French doors leading to the backyard. There are eight bedrooms, an eat-in kitchen, a wood-lined library with built-ins, a formal dining room, and a family room. The outdoor space features a pool and spa, as well as a barbecue.
