Mathew Stafford and his wife Kelly have developed into a loving marriage over the years.
They met while both were undergraduates at the University of Georgia. Matthew was the team’s most gifted quarterback.
Kelly was a Georgia Bulldogs cheerleader. They were engaged long before Matthew Stafford was picked with the first overall pick in the 2009 draft as the team’s franchise quarterback.
They married in 2015 and immediately began planning their family. They share four children.
Tyler Hall Stafford, Hunter Hope Stafford, Chandler Stafford, and Sawyer Stafford are all members of the Stafford family.
Mathew and Kelly are the parents of four children: three-year-old twins Chandler and Sawyer, one-year-old Hunter, and Tyler Hall Stafford, their fourth daughter.
Kelly announced her fourth pregnancy in March. According to an Instagram post, she confirmed their new kid is a girl.
Tyler was born on June 26 at 9:11 a.m. in the NICU at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland.
Tyler is “another sweet young lady to round out our lady squad,” Kelly says.
They spent ten hours with their newborn daughter before physicians decided to put her in the NICU because “her lungs required some attention, despite the fact that she was full term.”
