New Multinational Task Force commander, General Ibrahim resumes

The new Commander, Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF), Maj.-Gen. Abdul-Khalifah Ibrahim has resumed.

Ibrahim took over from Maj.-Gen. Jeleel Ogunlade on Friday.

Ogunlade said that the successes achieved under him were the result of the mutual respect and cooperation of all the stakeholders.

He hailed the performance of the officers and men of MNJTF in the course of their duties.

Ogunlade urged the Military Staff Officers (MSOs) at the headquarters to extend the same dedication of his successor.

He thanked the European Union (EU), Centre for Coordination and Liaison (CCL) and other MNJTF partners for their support.
