OPC nabs notorious cultist, Ewe in Lagos

A notorious cult leader, Qudus Balogun, was arrested on Wednesday by the Odua People’s Congress (OPC) at Ita-Opo in the Epe area of Lagos.

Balogun, popularly known as “Ewe”, has been handed over to the police.

The suspect, a member of Eiye Confraternity, is accused of numerous gruesome killings in Epe and environs.

NAN reports that some associates are rallying to secure his release from Police custody.

Ayodele Jaiyeola, a trader in Epe, urged Lagos State Government and Police to permanently end serial killings by cultists in Lagos.

CSP Barnabas Okosodo, the Divisional Police Officer, confirmed Balogun’s arrest.

The DPO added that an investigation has commenced.
