In that final season, Bobby Buntrock remained to portray Harold Baxter, the son of George and Dorothy. Susie Baxter, Harold’s cousin and the daughter of Steve and Barbara, made her acting debut at the same time as Julia Benjamin.

Following Hazel, he played Lee Gantry on the CBS soap series The Guiding Light from 1968 until 1971.

His final appearance on television was in the Hugh Porter role on the episode “The Razor’s Edge,” which aired on the syndicated television programme The New WKRP in Cincinnati on September 13, 1992.
