Sean Lock was a British comedian who mostly performed as a stand-up comedian and also appeared in movies which centred around comedy. By the year 200, Sean had gained reputation globally as one of the best living stand-up comedian, appearing in all the biggest events especially in the UK and US, eventually winning the prestigious Best Live Comic award at the 2000 edition of the British Comedy Award to cement his status as the best comedian in the UK.
Aside his stage performances and stand-up comedy, Sean also appeared in many other television and radio production, showcasing his versatility in the field.
Sean Lock was the youngest among his four siblings and was born in Surrey on 22nd April 1966 to a middle income parents. Growing up he attended the St. John The Baptist School where his talent for comedy was soon discovered by himself as he could make his class mates and teachers laugh for hours. He later proceeded to DRAMA CENTRE, LONDON to pursue a career in acting.
Sean Lock was diagnosed with Skin Cancer at the beginning of the 1990s and had to live with the condition throughout his life as he did not let his derail his career. He got married to Nara Glitsoff and together they have three children.

On August 18th 2021, Sean Lock succumbed to his skin cancer condition and passed away peacefully in the presence of his family, wife and kids at the age of 58. He left behind a legacy as one of UK’s most successful and loved comedians.
