Thandiwe Newton, a Hollywood actress, has separated from her husband of 24 years and has been advised to undergo counseling.
The actress, 49, abruptly left the third Magic Mike picture and is reported to be battling with her split husband Ol Parker, 52, with whom she shares three children.
She went from London to the United States last week, and her team is attempting to enlist her assistance amid fears she is in a “difficult situation.”
Thandiwe is also alleged to have terminated her three-decade-long relationship with her UK agency.
There were claims last week that she was involved in a spat with her co-star Channing Tatum on the set of Magic Mike’s Last Dance.
Salma Hayek, 55, has been tapped to fill the undisclosed role.
Warner Bros. later stated that she “made the difficult decision to leave the production to attend to family matters.”
According to a source, “Thandiwe was behaving strangely on set; she has been extremely strung.”
They stated that her behavior “created such havoc that it became clear she was unfit to play the role.” Her personal life is quite hectic.
“She and her spouse are no longer married. She appeared to be in such a state of distress that she brought her two pet bunnies to her hotel for emotional support.
Thandiwe married Ol in 1998, who is most known for directing 2018’s Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.
They have two daughters, Ripley, 21, and Nico, 17, as well as an eight-year-old boy, Booker Jobe.
The couple has not been spotted together in public since a mid-2020 vacation to Ibiza.
