Trent Olsen is an American actor, singer, and writer best known as the elder brother of twin actresses Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, together referred to as the Olsen twins.
James Trent Olsen was born in Sherman Oaks, California on 6 May 1984 to David Olsen and Jarnette Jones.
David Olsen, Trent’s father, is a real estate developer and mortgage banker, while Jarnette Jones, his mother, is a personal manager. His parents, on the other hand, divorced in 1996. He is the eldest child of three younger sisters, Mary-Kate, Ashley, and Elizabeth Olsen.
Trent Olsen also has two half-siblings from his father’s second marriage: Courtney Taylor, a half-sister, and Jake, a half-brother. In terms of schooling, he attended a North Hollywood high school and graduated in June 2002.
Trent Olsen then enrolled at the University of Southern California in October 2004 and graduated in May 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in jazz studies. Additionally, he attended Los Angeles’s New York Film Academy.
